| Toluca Lake |
In the early 1920s, the present Toluca Lake was a flourishing ranch called Forman Toluca Ranch, famous for its lush crops of peaches, apples and walnuts. Its groves have long since given way to beautiful streets of gorgeous residences, lovely boutiques and fine restaurants. The community is also now the setting for two picturesque lakes – the original one on the North Hollywood side and the other in Burbank, as well as a sprawling golf course called Lakeside Golf Club. Legendary entertainers such as Bob Hope, W.C. Fields and Bing Crosby called the area home for many years.
